I really want to stay in shape but my job is a nightmare when it comes to working out!
I work as a training co-coordinator for a major retail chain so am on the road for about 200 days of the year and always on the go. My company puts me up in a range of hotels but depending on the city or town I’m in the gym facilities available to me are really variable.
Sometimes the hotel has an amazing gym, sometimes it’s literally just a treadmill in a room! I really want to commit to a fitness program (I’m in my early thirties and about 20 lbs overweight) but am finding it very hard to get started when all the variables are so random. Most programs I see include exercises like chest presses and squats – and yet half the time I don’t have access to this kind of equipment.
What do you recommend Alfonso? How can I stay in shape and build a workout routine when I literally don’t know where I’ll be sleeping each night?Read More

Like a lot of people out there I’d love to get a six-pack – but my abs are covered by a few extra pounds. I know I need to lose the weight first – but of course I want to train my abs at the same time.
Unfortunately I feel totally overwhelmed by all the different abdominal exercises out there – sit ups, crunches, seated crunches, Russian Twists, leg lifts, etc.
Then when I read all the magazine they talk about training your top, middle and lower abs!
The result I’m totally lost! So tell me Alfonso – which ab exercises work, which don’t and what’s the best way to get that elusive six pack!Read More
