I have a weight loss question… how important are total number of carbs per day when it comes to losing weight?

I am counting calories, but should I be counting total carbs also? If so, what is a good number per day to aim for? My boyfriend says you cannot lose fat by eating carbs, but if its all about total number of calories can’t a person still lose weight by counting those alone? Confusing.

I am aiming to keep my calories around 1,500 per day and increasing protein intake to 1 gram per pound of body weight. Those two things seem More >
