2013: Year Of The Doer!
First and foremost I want to wish you all a very happy New Year. Actually, I want to go further than just saying ‘happy’. Like myself, I want more for you…a lot more.
Let’s be honest, many people make resolutions but I’m betting most people don’t follow through with any kind of plan or reach any success. And the reason is simple – they do nothing about what they want. So I’m asking all of you to make 2013 the year you DO SOMETHING about what you want. Talk is great, but it’s easy and get’s nothing done. What we need is action to get where we want to get. Action requires a plan, follow through, consistency and about all – commitment.
It doesn’t make a difference what your goal is – big, small, physical or emotional. I need for all of you to take action today and stop procrastinating, making excuses or saying tomorrow. I’ll share some of my experience with you that will put this all in perspective. A little over two years ago we launched the Angry Trainer Fitness site. And I’ll admit I was disappointed at first. We were posting articles on a daily basis and maybe 200 people were visiting the site. The Angry Trainer Facebook page was boring with just a few ‘likes’ and my Twitter account…well there weren’t many people following the old ATF.
Richard, whom you all know by now, said to me “Alfonso, it doesn’t look like much now, but keep doing what you’re doing and it’ll happen’. Now? This past year we had nearly 750,000 visits to the Angry Trainer site, both Facebook and Twitter grow by the day and in all, the Angry Trainer brand is well on it’s way. None of this would have happened if I didn’t DO something. Now to be honest, I need help and a push to keep me focused, in the same way accountability helps us in our fitness program (thank you Richard). I can honestly tell you that it may be hard to see the end result, but as Martin Luther King said ‘You need not see the whole staircase to take the first step’.
So will you be a doer in 2013? Will you take action? I’m here to help you in any way I can and I want to see you succeed. Make this the year you start working towards what you want and visualize achieving it. It’s all up to you. You make the choices, you control your success.

I love ATF,;thanks for all your tips, advice, workouts, support, etc.
I am a 63 yr female, live on a 42′ sailboat and travel a lot. I need all the help I can get to maintain motivation, and ACTION. Consistency is my 2013 goal.
