The On The Floor Workout

Today I’m excited to share another great exercise routine with you. This workout is all about the floor and YOU!

Using tools like weights, jump ropes, balls and other pieces of equipment is great, but you don’t NEED to have them to achieve a terrific workout. You can perform my On The Floor workout ANYWHERE – in the gym, at home, in a hotel room, even at work!

The routine is set up to work your body in a variety of ways – it’ll target your endurance, strength, cardiovascular and balance and also help address some usually overlooked areas. And just because you’re on the floor don’t assume it’s easy… trust me this one should be a challenge for you!

Here’s what’s on tap:

Start with 10 reps (each side where relevant) and then work your way up to more…

1. Pushup sit outs

2. Bird Dogs

3. Shoulder Taps

4. Mountain Climbers

5. Gladiators

6. X Position Abs

7. Bottom Burpees

8. Toe Taps

Rest 30 – 45 seconds and then repeat the whole circuit!

So give this routine a go and remember there are no excuses – all you need is a few minutes and a floor to work with.
